The makers of the app at iFit Technologies posit that it’s “the world’s most powerful personal alarm clock with advanced statistical data.” So instead of waking up to the blaring sound of a traditional alarm clock, you can set the alarm to play your favourite music.
But if you’re the type of person who will continue to snore through a song, perhaps you’d be better suited to waking up to the sound of your own voice.
The Sleep Science Alarm has a feature that lets you record your own wakeup message. It can be a simple wakeup call, a reminder of a special event, or even an inspirational speech to get you motivated for the day.
The iPsychologist feature, in which a pre-recorded voice speaks to you, comes with 12 programs and 30 sessions designed to improve mental health and overall wellbeing.
The app also has a simulated sunrise, in which the phone lights up several minutes before your alarm goes off to slowly rouse you out of sleep.
