Last week saw the return of the annual Fall Home
Show to Toronto’s Better Living Centre at Exhibition Place.
The event brings the best
of the best in interior design trends, experts on home decorating, and popular celebrity industry experts,
such as Disaster DIY’s Bryan Baeumler. For those looking to
remodel their homes, the show featured over 300 home decor specialists offering their
expertise.
One standout showcase this
year was the Runway to Room. Celebrity designers, Ramsin Khachi, Glen Peloso, and Sabrina Linn each designed
rooms using fall fashion trends to influence the interiors.
Stylist Ji-Yun Timperon
supplied the fall fashions trends from H&M and Nine
West,
which gave a basis for each designer to find inspiration and influence.
“The anticipation of fall
fashions is what keeps me going all year and the 2011 Fall Runways did not disappoint,” says Ji-Yun.
“Showcasing a myriad of trends, designers pulled out all the stops and there really is something for
everyone. With clothing supplied by H&M and shoes supplied by
Nine
West,
I've pulled together runway looks of some of my favourite trends.”
Be sure to pay close
attention to new fall trends for home renovation as DIY home decor continues to grow in
Canada.
