Shades of Style

As I headed out to work today I was greeted by an unfamiliar blast of sunshine and warmth. I stood there, stunned, before hurrying back inside to grab arguably my favourite fashion accessory, and one that had been shamefully neglected over the grey winter months: my sunglasses!

As winter slowly surrenders to spring we all anxiously try to hurry it along by wearing clothes designed for much warmer weather. Mother Nature is impervious to peer pressure, however, so all this results in is a transitional month of freezing ladies in too-light coats and daring peep-toe pumps.

Sunglasses are a welcome way to update your look from winter to warmth without having to brave the occasional wintry day in your lighter gear. This season’s sunglasses trend is an all-encompassing celebration of sunshine and style: Everything and anything goes. From glam shades with rhinestone accessories to geek chic and the classic aviator, the only style that’s “out” is understated
